Nuclear LIMS

Secure, configurable LIMS for the Nuclear industry

Nuclear installations need information management for their survey, discharge (liquid and gas) and chemical applications.

Matrix LIMS from Autoscribe is a secure, configurable solution for all types of work within this vital sector.

Routine, non-routine, statutory, non-statutory, historic and ad hoc sample details may be entered manually or automatically and registered on the system.  District survey work may include the registration of a grid reference, sampler identity, date scheduled and date sampled.  Sample collection may encompass printing work lists, a map of sampling points, complete with directions, as well as labels for the sample containers themselves.

Color coding may be used to distinguish between statutory and non-statutory samples.

Results may be input manually, directly or remotely – manually from a keyboard or by means of direct links to test equipment, such as scintillation counters and gamma spectrometers, or remotely from handheld computers.

Again, color coding may be used to indicate scheduled, collected, tested or validated status.

The system is supplied with a variety of standard reports, including trend analysis with nested parameters and alerts.

The system is extremely secure, being managed by a system which allows access according to function and/or authority.
