Instrument Calibration

Keeping you in full control - instrument calibration and maintenance

Keeping track of all of the equipment in your lab or business – and its status – can be a time-consuming, labor-intensive and error-strewn process.  Autoscribe’s Instrument Calibration and Maintenance System (ICMS) is complete solution to this complex requirement.

Supplied as standalone or integrated with Matrix LIMS, ICMS can hold information such as code, description, class, serial number, model number, manufacturer, supplier, location, plus dates of purchase, upgrade, maintenance, calibration, etc..

Calibration checks can be assigned according to time interval or volume of equipment usage.  All calibration activity is checked against limits, and equipment that has not been calibrated recently enough may have its status amended to ‘unavailable,’ with comments to explain exceptions.

Maintenance can be scheduled according to the manufacturer’s recommended intervals.  Other maintenance activity – for breakdowns and faults, etc. – can also be recorded, with comments added for each occurrence.

ICMS offers many standard screens and reports, including:

  • Equipment inventory with calibration and maintenance schedules
  • Listing of all calibration and/or maintenance due within a designated interval
  • Listing of all overdue activity
  • Maintenance and/or calibration log by piece of equipment
  • Listing of all non-routine activity

ICMS can also record electrical safety checking, and an instrument may be linked with its constituent components, which may be managed on an individual basis.
