Additional databases

Users may add different database groups to the three supplied with the system – active, archive and training/development – in order to accommodate different functional groups.

A feature of Matrix Plus and Matrix Enterprise, Batch Registration allows the allocation of batch numbers over and above sample numbers, and enables users to store information at batch level.

Event Log

The Event Log is a fully searchable table of all of the system activity, which can be reported on in a variety of management reports.

Frequency Testing

Frequency Testing allows the testing requirements to be reduced, for example, specifying that only one in five samples is tested.

Instrument Calibration and Maintenance

Instrument Calibration and Maintenance manages the scheduling of calibration and maintenance of all instruments on the inventory.

Network Administrator

The Network Administrator manages the system’s workstations – their identification, enablement, disenablement, allocation of user to workstation – and displays a wide variety of information on current users and usage.

Multi-sample, multi-test result entry

This facility enables users to perform batch entry and review of multiple samples and multiple tests on a single screen.

Result Import

This module allows for the automated import of results from computers or instruments, for example, for data collected by Labtronics Limslink and others.

Runsheet

Runsheet enables users to link multiple samples with an individual runsheet.  It also provides for the definition of runsheet templates. 

Sample Receipt/Preparation

This module enables users to record status change when the lab physically receives samples.

Stability Study Management

Stability Study Management manages studies where tests are scheduled for specific times, as in food shelf-life tests and pharmaceutical stability testing.

Training Records Management

This module records all of the training courses undergone by staff.
