Available standalone, or as a constituent part of your LIMS solution, Resource Planner from Autoscribe analyses the skill-set and availability of staff, the equipment required, the timeline and priorities, together with any other resource considerations, and produces a schedule of the work to be done by people, instruments, rooms, etc..
An extremely powerful feature of the module is the ‘what if’ facility. When new work arrives, or a resource leaves, Resource Planner will re-schedule instantly, removing what is often a complex and time-consuming manual task.
The system can also be used to track individual resources – people, equipment – and to identify staff training needs. The overall workload can be summarized and shown in a clear, understandable graphical format.
Resource Planner utilizes the latest tools to deliver the best results. Built on Microsoft .NET technology, Resource Planner shares the same look and feel as Matrix LIMS, so that users wil be familiar with its interface. It uses state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence algorithms to analyse the data and create the schedules; and it produces high-resolution charts and graphs.
